On August 4, 2017, the Chargé d’Affaires at the German Embassy Yaounde Mr. Lars Leymann handed over her visa to Marie Francoise Ngono Ndong, a student of College de la Retraite in Yaounde. She will travel to Germany in order to take part in the one-month German language laureate program organized by the pedagogic exchange service of the association of culture ministers of German federal states (PAD). Three other students from Duala, Joyce Cassandra Yatou Pouamou, Sephora Beese Bas’esamba (both from Lycée Bilingue de Bepanda) and Paule Audrey Mangamtcheuth (Lycée de Ndog-Hem) will also take part in the program which is funded by the Federal Foreign Office.
Hand-over of visa to a PAD laureate
On July 19 and 20, Ambassador Dr. Stell was part of a high-ranking delegation that visited the Far-North Region. The main purpose of the trip he conducted together with the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development Louis Paul Motaze, the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health Alim Hayatou and the Country Director of the UNHCR, was to assess the situation of the refugees in the region.

On Wednesday, April 12, 2017, the Permanent Representatives of the German Embassy, Jaunde Lars Leymann and Ms. Maximilienne C. Ngo Mbe, Executive Director of the NGO's Network for Human Rights in Central Africa (REDHAC) and Project Supervisor SCSC-FF signed a project financial agreement of 2.138.350 FCFA (EUR 3.359).

On March 27, 2017, the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by Lars Leymann, the Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the German Embassy in Yaounde and Eliezert Nguopetsuo, President of Association Afrique Justice, signed a grant agreement on financial cooperation.
