Donation of sports material to the „Groupe des Jeunes pour le Rassemblement et le Développment” in Elat Minkom on October 29th 2005

On October 29th the German Embassy donated complete outfits for 14 soccer and 10 handball player as well as shoes and other sports material to the community of Elat Minkom. The German Embassy, represented by almost all of its staff, was welcomed with traditional music and dances. To show the guests that the donation was justified, the young soccer players competed in a friendly game, which revealed all their talents.

Let’s hope that the given equipment helps to qualify for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa, after having to pause 2006 for the Wold Cup in Germnay!
